Quantitative Lymphoscintigraphy
Choi Joon-Young

Abstract
Peripheral lymphoscintigraphy is a useful non-invasive imaging modality for evaluating lymphedema. Although the main interpretation of lymphoscintigraphy is based on visual qualitative assessment, there are clinical needs for objective interpretation, assessment of lymphatic function and disease severity in terms of numbers, and objective assessment for therapeutic response. Quantitative analysis of lymphoscintigraphy may provide additional information about these clinical needs. This review article focuses on the methods of quantitative lymphoscintigraphy and its¡¯ clinical utility.
